Chemical usage begins a vicious cycle of dependency.  Initially, plants appear fine after chemical fertilization.  However, chemicals strip the soil of life, depleting the natural biology,  leaving nothing behind to supply or maintain nutrients to the plant.  Once the soil life is gone, plants are forced to rely solely on their routine fertilizer "fix" for nutrients.  Often, plants begin to show signs of stress due to this unnatural, unbalanced program.  As this situation develops, more chemicals are applied to help "remedy" the problem.
Chemical pesticides are often introduced to combat diseases and pests taking advantage of the plant's weakness.  However, these applications more often strip the plant's natural microbial protective coating leaving it even more susceptible to disease than it was before!  All of these conditions create extreme stress on the plants that the chemical fertilizers and pesticides cannot cure; the end result is poor quality plant material, high mortality rate, poor soil conditions and contaminated water supplies.  In nature, plants are provided with most of the nutrients they need from a complex ecosystem of microorganisms called the soil food web.  The healthier the soil, the healthier the plant.  As we see with our own health, prevention is the best medicine.
Organics     provide     a     preventative

approach that promotes sustainability.  Organic methods also focus on encouraging the insusceptibility of plants to pests and disease, rather than just eradicating pests.  Through organics, you actually increase plant resistance to harmful pathogens and insects.  A healthy plant produces compounds called allelochemicals that retard insect feeding and inhibit disease development.
Healthy soil is ALIVE.  It is more biologically diverse than any other ecosystem on Earth.  A healthy soil builds structure, decomposes matter, feeds nutrients to plants, increases percability and protects plants from disease and pathogens.
We have great concern for today's serious environmental issues including, but not limited to, herbicide and pesticide overusage and abuse.  The carelessness that has permeated our area over the last couple decades has left us with highly contaminated, undrinkable water.  If you DO NOT know someone who has, or did have, cancer, you are certainly the minority here.  We are committed to addressing these issues.  It is our sincere desire to educate and elevate the consciousness of our clientele.  We only have one planet Earth.  It is imperative that we  take  whatever  steps  are   necessary to preserve and  protect  our beautiful    land.     Ignorance    is   not   bliss.

Ignoring the truth is not going to make it go away. Everyone needs to take action when it comes to our environment. Remember, we all share  the  same backyard,  literally.
